We offer one weeks stay during the period May 8-June 10,  in a comfortable and cosy semi-detached 2-bedroom cottage which sleeps 4-5 people. Also included in this accommodation package is transfer from/to Zakynthos airport and a rental car with a/c for 1 week, and a one day "seaturtle-safari" with Marios glass-bottom boat!

Family package for 1 week for 4-5 people includes:

How to get here:
Zakynthos is south west of the Greek mainland, in the Ionian sea. The easiest way to get here is to take a direct flight (choose flight only) to the island but there are also other alternatives. See more info below.

Arriving-transfer-car:
At the airport taxi will wait for you and bring you to Daphnes in 25 minutes. The car is parked at the cottage. The rental price for the car includes full insurance and, if you need, childrens-seats as well.

With the car you can reach seven different beaches within a 5-15 minutes drive! Zakynthos island offers lots of spectacular nature and pretty small villages worth seeing. The smugglers wreck with its isolated white beach and sparkeling azur blue sea, the pretty lagoon in Porto Roxa or the delicious lunch at the small picturesque tavern in the mountain village of Loucha!

Seaturtle-safari:
Marios glass-bottom boat starts the day-long seaturtle-trip from Porto Roma harbour, only a 3 minute walk from Daphnes. Mario will take you south west straight over the Laganas bay to see, and swim in if you like, marvellous caves, beautiful beaches and other perfect sites for snorkeling. There are many impressive underwater-rock-formations in this area and a clear sight of 30 metres! After a lunch-brake on a tavern (the lunch is not included in the package-price) and a rest, the trip continues and now starts the careful searching for the giant sea turtle Caretta caretta. Mario is very respectful towards these pre-historic animals and moves slowly to see them up close. They are usually coming up with their head above the water several times. It is something very special to see these animals swimming free in their natural habitat.

Remember you can either fly directly to Zakynthos (also called Zante) then you are only 25 minutes by taxi from Daphnes, or to Athens which is 7 hours by car/bus and ferry, or to Araxos (cheap flights from German speaking countries) which is only 2 hours by car/taxi and ferry from us at Daphnes.
